Individual Therapy

Are you ready to heal that father wound once and for all?  Well, you are in the right place. In our one-on-one sessions, we will dive deep into your personal story without judgment or rushing. Blame and shame do not live here. Just compassion and understanding for where you are right now.  This is your safe space to process the pain of abandonment, work through anxiety and depression, and rebuild your self-esteem, navigate the grief that often comes with father wound trauma. Whether we’re using EMDR, CBT, therapeutic journaling, or just having real conversations, our work together is completely tailored to your unique healing journey. Sis, you will leave each session feeling more connected to yourself and ready to create the loving relationships you deserve.

EMDR

Hey sis, I get it—sometimes talking about your trauma feels like picking at a wound that won’t heal. When the father wound runs deep and traditional talk therapy feels overwhelming, EMDR therapy can be a game-changer. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps your brain process those painful memories without making you relive every painful detail over and over.

What makes my approach different? I’ve completed specialized EMDR in Color training because I know that your healing journey as a woman of color comes with layers that many therapists don’t understand. We’re dealing with racial trauma, cultural wounds, and identity-based pain on top of that father wound—and you deserve someone who gets the full picture.

I use EMDR therapy to help with anxiety, PTSD, depression, grief, and all the ways trauma shows up in your life. Many of my clients find relief faster with EMDR than they did with years of traditional therapy. You don’t have to stay stuck in those painful memories—let’s help your brain heal so you can finally move forward. EMDR can be done in-person or virtually.

Immigration Evaluations

As the daughter of an immigrant, I know firsthand how immigration issues can turn your world upside down and impact your mental health. That’s why I’m passionate about writing Immigration Evaluations that help keep families together and protect people from persecution—because everyone deserves to feel safe and free from abuse.

Immigration Evaluations give the Court a window into your life and psychological experience that they might not see otherwise. I provide comprehensive evaluations for:

  • Asylum Cases – Explaining psychological reasons for missed deadlines and documenting PTSD symptoms that evidence persecution
  • Extreme Hardship Cases – Identifying unique factors like illness, disability, or adverse conditions affecting you and your family
  • VAWA Cases – Detailing psychological symptoms of domestic violence and assessing credibility

What to Expect: I’ll collaborate with your immigration attorney, then conduct 1.5-2 hours of interviews over two sessions (in-person or via secure video). Each evaluation includes your psychosocial history, psychological symptoms, diagnosis if relevant, consequences of deportation, my professional opinion, and future recommendations.

Investment: $900 (50% due at first meeting). Evaluations completed within 4 weeks of your second session. Evening appointments available for your convenience.
